The Struggle For Justice

Protest Photo Burma’s 2007 "Saffron Revolution" and the brutal attacks on Burma’s peaceful monks and ordinary citizens captured the world's attention and our sense of justice. Through its crimes against humanity, the Burmese junta attempts to crush all hope for democratic self-rule, but the junta’s torture and bullets cannot silence the people’s non-violent struggle for democracy.
However dangerous or difficult, the struggle in Burma will continue until it achieves freedom. The conditions created by the regime are intolerable for the people of this Asian country as well as the entire region and indeed the world.
