U Maung Maung, BIDD President, addressed the International Federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers' Unions (ICEM) on 24 November 2007 in Bangkok, Thailand. He opened the last day's session calling for economic sanctions against the military junta and explaining that the people of Burma will continue their struggle for liberation and national democracy until the end.
